WaveEject Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy describes how WaveEject, published by Digivus, handles information in the current WaveEject Android application (application ID com.waveeject.app) and on this website. It is written to match the behavior of the binary being published, not a generic template.
Who we are
WaveEject is a speaker-care and audio utility for Android. The consumer product brand is WaveEject. The publisher / developer is Digivus.
Privacy questions: privacy@waveeject.com. Support questions: support@waveeject.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the current WaveEject Android app and the public website at waveeject.com. It does not describe Google’s own processing as the operator of Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google advertising or analytics products, or Android, except to explain how WaveEject interacts with those services.
Information WaveEject accesses
WaveEject is designed to do its core speaker-care work on the device. In the current Android app:
- The app plays audio through the device’s media output in order to run Water Eject, Speaker Test, Manual Frequency, and Deep Clean.
- The app may read media-volume level so it can advise when volume is very low or at maximum. You remain in control of volume.
- The app observes whether audio is routed to the phone speaker or to headphones / Bluetooth so it can stop or refuse a session that would not reach the speaker.
- If you purchase WaveEject Pro, the app receives purchase and ownership state from Google Play Billing that is necessary to unlock Pro features.
- A last-known WaveEject Pro entitlement (owned or not owned) may be stored locally so Pro tools can remain available when the device is offline after a legitimate purchase.
- The app uses network access to show ads to free users, measure app usage, obtain regional advertising and privacy consent, and confirm WaveEject Pro ownership with Google Play.
Information WaveEject does not request
The current Android app does not create a WaveEject account and does not request the following Android permissions or data:
- Microphone access
- Camera access
- Contacts access
- Precise location permission
- Photo or media-library access
- A WaveEject account, email address, or password
WaveEject does not collect Google account credentials. If you buy WaveEject Pro, you use the Google Play account already on the device; that account is managed by Google, not by a WaveEject login system.
The app does not request precise location permission. Separately, Google’s advertising SDK may derive an approximate location from the device’s IP address, as described in the advertising section below.
Local device data
Certain information stays on the device and is not sent to a WaveEject server:
- Cleaning History: completed Water Eject and Deep Clean sessions (for example, time, duration, frequency range, and mode) stored in a local on-device database.
- Preferences: including haptics on/off and limited application settings.
- Last-known Pro entitlement: a local record that WaveEject Pro is owned, used to support legitimate offline use after Google Play has confirmed ownership.
WaveEject does not provide cloud synchronization and does not keep a WaveEject server copy of Cleaning History or these preferences.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The current Android app uses Google AdMob. Ads are shown to free users. WaveEject Pro users are not shown ads.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, diagnostic data, and device and advertising identifiers.
This information may be shared with Google for analytics, advertising and marketing, and for fraud prevention, security, and compliance with applicable law.
Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The current Android app uses Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may process app usage, screen and feature interactions, and device or app information for analytics purposes.
Firebase Analytics may process purchase-related events, such as viewing the Pro offer, starting or completing a purchase, or restoring ownership. WaveEject does not send payment-card details to Firebase.
Advertising and privacy consent
Where required, WaveEject obtains regional advertising and privacy consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can review or change those choices later in the app under Privacy Options.
Google Play Billing
Optional WaveEject Pro is a one-time lifetime in-app product sold through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed by Google Play, not by WaveEject directly.
- WaveEject does not receive or store your credit-card number or payment-card details.
- The app receives the purchase and ownership state required to unlock WaveEject Pro.
- Purchase tokens are handled by Google Play Billing during purchase, restore, and ownership checks. WaveEject’s own local storage records last-known Pro entitlement, not a permanent WaveEject-side archive of purchase tokens.
- Google’s processing of payment and Play account data is governed by Google’s policies.
Third-party services
The current Android app uses Google services for distribution, purchases, advertising, analytics, and consent:
- Google Play, for distribution and app updates
- Google Play Billing, for WaveEject Pro purchase, restore, and entitlement checks
- Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, for ads shown to free users
- Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), for regional advertising and privacy consent
- Firebase Analytics, for app-usage analytics
Google’s processing of data collected through these products is governed by Google’s own policies. For more information, see:
If a later version adds additional data-collecting SDKs or changes these practices, this Privacy Policy must be updated before that version is published, and the Google Play Data safety form must be updated to match.
This website
waveeject.com is a static website. The current site does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers, and it does not set non-essential cookies.
The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request logs (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) according to that provider’s policies. WaveEject does not operate a separate user database for website visitors.
If you email support@waveeject.com or privacy@waveeject.com, we receive the content of that email and your email address in order to respond.
Data retention
Local Cleaning History remains on the device until it is removed through applicable app functionality, the app’s data is cleared in Android settings, or WaveEject is uninstalled — depending on the device and implementation. WaveEject does not retain a server copy of that history.
Local preferences and last-known Pro entitlement remain on the device until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. After reinstall, Pro ownership is restored by querying Google Play with the eligible Play account, not from a WaveEject cloud profile.
Google may retain information processed by AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and related services according to Google’s policies.
Support or privacy emails are retained only as needed to handle the request and any related legal or security obligation.
Data deletion
You can clear WaveEject app data from Android settings, or uninstall the app, to remove local history and preferences from that device.
WaveEject does not operate a server that stores user accounts or app history, so there is no WaveEject server copy of Cleaning History or a WaveEject user profile to delete.
WaveEject Pro ownership is recorded by Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a legitimate Play purchase. Restore Purchases can return Pro access on a device using the same eligible Google Play account.
Data processed by Google advertising and analytics services is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies. To ask about a support or privacy email you sent us, contact privacy@waveeject.com.
Security
Data sent over the network is encrypted in transit.
Core audio tools run locally. Local history and preferences are stored in standard on-device application storage. WaveEject does not transmit Cleaning History to a WaveEject backend because WaveEject does not operate a server that stores user accounts or app history.
Purchase security and payment data are handled by Google Play Billing. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and you should keep the device and Play account protected with the safeguards Android and Google provide.
Children’s privacy
WaveEject is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not create WaveEject accounts. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete that correspondence where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when WaveEject’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy will change when we do. Material changes should be reviewed before you continue using the app. Current last updated date: September 2, 2026.
